Paul Basic - The Mirror

Over the last several years, Colorado producer Paul Basic (Paul Brandt) has developed his own brand of beats fusing dusty samples with hard hitting drums and razor-sharp basslines. His roots are in drumming, having played in a band with label-mates Michal Menert and Derek Vincent Smith through highschool before moving on to produce his own tracks. He draws from a slew of inspirations in order to create his own style within the PLM electro hip-hop movement. A Colorado native, Paul lived on both coasts while pursuing a degree in audio production, before he came back to CO to team up with his crew and begin his quest for domination of the global dance floor. Now available for free download is Paul Basic's debut on the PLM label with his EP 'The Mirror'.

Skala Collective - Black Constellation

Skala Collective refers to the music group of people that are supporting each otherís solo as well as some other side-projects. When it comes to music styles Skala gets inspiration from the fusion of post rock, space & krautrock, electronic, jazz, noise music genres. Skala project has released 4 albums so far. All of them were issued in the creative commons domain and are download free.

- Roger: guitar, bass guitar, keyboards, loops, drums,
- Maya: drums, keyboards, saxonette, jembe,
- GBart: keyboards, loops, drum machine programming.

Featured guest performer on the live improvisation of "First day of a new world" is a drummer Tom vel Kyca Marko and Brenislav did the overall photo coverage. Roger and GBart have also released the solo project for the netlabel Chill Label (http://www.chill-label.info/) and Recycling Records (http://www.recyclingrecords.com/). Further more the Skala Collective members are also performing in the improvising band Perry Ferya Band, that has released its debut album on Recycling Records. The Black Constellation album is the most complete fusion of the different genres performed by its members on the daily basis. The dynamics of the album is made by the dreamy melodies supported by solid drums and bass structure, spiced up with free jazz improvisation and noise sound explosions.

Od siebie dodam tyle, że płytkę zassało w niecały miesiąc ponad 11tysięcy osób co jest chyba dobrym wynikiem i jeżeli chcesz być następny to naciśnij przycisk ZIP.

tytułem wstępu, gwoli wyjaśnienia, tako rzecze brenislav...

No i stało się co miało się stać czyli nieuniknione...
Reanimacja audioterrora rozpoczęta....
Cholera wie od czego zacząć tak na dobrą sprawę...
Co się działo w czasie tej nieobecności wiedzą Ci którzy siedzą na babilońskim fejsbuku albo mnie znają osobiście a więc wciągnęły mnie foty, klipowe zajawki, porzuciłem ciepłą budżetową posadkę na rzecz nieznanego które ma wkrótce nadejść a poza tym bez zmian - włóczęga, spliffy, lenistwo zaawansowane, tatuaże i setki płyt na dysku czekających na puszczenie ich tym którzy ich jeszcze nie słyszeli...
Zrobiłem oczywiście kilka pożytecznych rzeczy - okładka nowej płyty Skali plus skadrowanie każdego utworu przy czym całość pod swoje skrzydła wziął moskiewski Clinical Archives, wideo do seta Piotrka po raz pierwszy, wideło Piotrka po raz drugi, klip Skali, fotka na płytkę Kirill Platonkin - Rainbow Depression i pewnie coś jeszcze o czym akurat nie pamiętam.
Jedno jest pewne - pisania na tej stronie za wiele nie będzie, jeno dźwięk i obraz się ostanie, słowa przehandlowałem na nutki i chuj. Tego się trzymam bo zdania zobowiązują. W słowach trzeba zawrzeć jakieś sens, przekaz, otwierać głowy ludziom, grzebać miedzy zwojami literką i inne takie ambitne czynności, które do mnie nie bardzo przemawiają bo ja prosty chłopak z podlasia jestem, łakomy pożeracz dźwięku i jak na razie obywatel żyjący w separacji z piórem.
na ile starczy mi zapału czas pokaże może znowu ze cztery lata zlecą.....
no.
